Plot of The Wild Robot
The Wild Robot follows Roz, a service robot stranded on a remote island after a shipwreck. Voiced by Lupita Nyong’o and directed by Chris Sanders, Roz learns to survive, gains the trust of wary animals, and adopts a gosling named Brightbill.
As Roz helps Brightbill grow, she faces dangers from both the wild and Universal Dynamics, which wants her back. A climactic battle sees Roz and the animals uniting to defend their home. In the end, Roz leaves to protect the island but promises to return, delivering a heartfelt tale of survival, family, and sacrifice.
