Discovery Network Channels Have Gone Live on fuboTV

By Gabriela Vatu / July 16, 2019

It's been nearly a month since fuboTV announced that it signed a deal with Discovery Network for a bunch of their channels, and they've all finally gone live.

TechNadu reached out to fuboTV and they confirmed that the channels are landing on the platform just in time for Shark Week, the famous week-long event that Discovery Channel runs every summer.

The main bundle on fuboTV is getting Discovery Channel, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, and MotorTrend. This raises the number of channels that go in the $54.99 per month bundle to over 100.

The fubo Extra pack, which costs $5.99 per month, is getting Science Channel, Destination America, Discovery Family, American Heroes Channel, and Discovery Life. Discovery en Espanol and Discovery Familia are heading over to the Latino Plus pack ($7.99 per month).

"Our partners at fuboTV are building a unique programming service, and we are pleased to bring more of our portfolio of real-life passion brands and programs to their subscribers," said Eric Phillips, President of Affiliate Distribution at Discovery at the time of the announcement. "This agreement further exemplifies the viewer affinity for our beloved brands and talent, and fuboTV's commitment to offering high-quality, world-class content to customers."
