Cyber Job Moves: Leadership Changes Across Security and Cyber Firms

Joshua Rudd – U.S. Cyber Command / National Security Agency

The U.S. Senate confirmed Army Gen. Joshua Rudd to lead U.S. Cyber Command and serve as director of the National Security Agency. The dual position had remained without permanent leadership for nearly a year following the removal of Gen. Timothy Haugh in April. Rudd previously served as deputy commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and was promoted to four-star general following the confirmation vote. (source)

Nick Andersen – CISA

Nick Andersen is now serving as Acting Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). He previously served as Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity at the agency, overseeing national cyber defense and risk management programs. Andersen’s career includes senior cybersecurity and IT positions across the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and the Department of Energy. He previously held the position of Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Vermont. (source)

Paolo Campoli – DataKrypto

DataKrypto has brought in Paolo Campoli as Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer to expand enterprise adoption of its Confidential AI and encrypted AI infrastructure. Campoli will oversee global sales, partnerships, and revenue strategy as the company scales deployments across regulated industries and infrastructure operators. He previously held senior roles at Cisco, including Global Head of the Service Provider Segment, where he worked with carriers, hyperscalers, and cloud providers on large-scale technology initiatives. Campoli will focus on building ecosystem partnerships and advancing secure AI deployments for enterprise customers. (source)

Peter Jorgensen – Roblox

Peter Jorgensen has been appointed Vice President, Global Security at Roblox, where he previously served as Senior Director, Global Security since August 2024. In the new role, he oversees global security operations. Roblox is an online gaming and user-generated content platform used by millions of players worldwide. Before joining Roblox, Jorgensen held senior security and protective services roles at Meta and served government and intelligence organizations, including NATO and Denmark’s security services. Allvan Farmer – Standard Bank Namibia

Allvan Farmer has been appointed Chief Information Officer at Standard Bank Namibia, effective March 1, 2026. He brings nearly two decades of experience in banking and financial services technology across Southern Africa. Farmer previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Letshego Bank Namibia, overseeing payments, technology operations, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and risk functions. Standard Bank Namibia is part of the Standard Bank Group and provides banking and financial services across Namibia. (source)

Chng Kai Fong – Government of Singapore

Chng Kai Fong will assume the role of Permanent Secretary (Cybersecurity), Prime Minister’s Office, effective April 1, 2026, as part of a broader Public Service Division leadership reshuffle across Singapore’s civil service. He will also serve as Permanent Secretary for Digital Development and Information and Permanent Secretary for Smart Nation. The changes follow the announced retirement of Head of Civil Service Leo Yip and will take effect at the start of Singapore’s new financial year. (source)

Joseph Welsh – Netskope

Joseph Welsh has joined Netskope as Vice President of Sales, U.S. Public Sector. In this role, he will lead the company’s sales strategy across U.S. federal, state, local, and education (SLED) markets. Welsh joins Netskope from Tenable, where he served as Regional Vice President of Public Sector Sales. He previously held executive roles at RSA Security, Splunk, and other enterprise technology firms. (source)

Jeff Sopshin – AARC-360

Jeff Sopshin has stepped into the role of Chief Revenue Officer at AARC-360, a U.S.-based firm providing cybersecurity, risk, and compliance advisory services. He will lead the company’s revenue strategy and client engagement initiatives as the firm expands its global service portfolio. Sopshin brings more than three decades of experience in IT risk, compliance, and advisory services. He previously spent over 25 years as a partner at Ernst & Young, advising organizations on governance and regulatory compliance. (source)

Dan Duffy – Consulting Solutions

Dan Duffy has been appointed Cyber Practice Lead at Consulting Solutions, a technology consulting and workforce services firm. In the role, he will help expand the company’s cybersecurity advisory capabilities and support enterprise clients facing growing cyber risk. Duffy brings more than two decades of experience building security programs and advisory services. He previously served as Executive Vice President and co-founder of Zyston, a Dallas-based cybersecurity consulting and managed security services firm. (source)

Clint Maddox – Sectigo

Clint Maddox has joined as the President of Global Field Operations at Sectigo, a certificate lifecycle management and digital trust provider. He will lead the company’s global revenue and go-to-market organization, overseeing sales, marketing, and channel operations. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at KX and was the CRO at ConnectWise. Sectigo provides automated certificate lifecycle management and digital trust solutions. (source)

Kevin Charest – Netrio

Kevin Charest has taken on the role of Vice President of Cyber Governance Services at Netrio. In this position, he will direct the company’s cybersecurity strategy, governance programs, and service delivery across its global security portfolio. Charest brings over three decades of experience in cybersecurity leadership spanning both government and private sector environments. His background includes leading enterprise security, risk management, and compliance initiatives at major organizations, including serving as CISO at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Ed Vasko – Visory

Ed Vasko has been named Chief Operating Officer at Visory, a managed technology and cybersecurity services provider. In the role, he will oversee operational strategy and service delivery as the company expands its managed technology and security capabilities. Vasko brings more than 35 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity. Chris Oliver has been named General Manager of Products at Vibrint, a defense technology company supporting national security and intelligence missions. He will oversee planning, operations, and expansion of the company’s national security-focused products business. Oliver has over three decades of experience building technology businesses in the government and defense sector. Chad Spears has been promoted to CISO at InfusionPoints, a cybersecurity and compliance services provider. Ed Jennings – Darktrace

Ed Jennings has been selected as CEO of Darktrace and will begin the role on March 23. Jennings most recently led Boston-based Quickbase as CEO, where the company’s revenue expanded significantly during his tenure. Earlier in his career, he held the role of Chief Operating Officer at cybersecurity firm Mimecast and contributed to its IPO and global expansion. Joe Strathmann – Quorum Cyber

Joe Strathmann has been named Chief Operating Officer at Quorum Cyber, an Edinburgh-based cybersecurity services provider. He will help scale the company’s Microsoft security services. Strathmann brings more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT services. His background includes senior operational roles at Secureworks and Rapid7. Dino DiMarino – Tenable

Tenable has appointed Dino DiMarino as Chief Revenue Officer to lead global sales, partner ecosystems, and revenue operations. Based in Boston, he will focus on scaling revenue growth and supporting enterprise demand for exposure management and AI security solutions. DiMarino brings more than 20 years of experience and previously held CRO roles at Snyk, Qualys, and Mimecast, and served as CEO of AppViewX, with earlier executive roles at RSA Security and Dell EMC. Tony Sauerhoff – Texas Department of Information Resources

Tony Sauerhoff has been confirmed as Texas state CIO and Executive Director of the Texas Department of Information Resources. Sauerhoff previously served as the agency’s Chief AI and Innovation Officer and earlier as Texas CISO and chair of the Texas Cybersecurity Council. His past roles also include IT security work for the U.S. Courts and leadership roles in the Marine Corps Reserve and the U.S. Air Force. (source)

T.J. Mayotte – Baltimore City Information Technology

T.J. Mayotte has been appointed Chief Information Officer for Baltimore, Maryland. He brings over 20 years of IT experience across the public and private sectors. Mayotte previously served as CIO for Howard County and Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Anne Arundel County. His private sector positions were at Synchrony, Capital One, and HealthEquity, where he worked on security governance and risk. (source)

Col. Becky Beers – U.S. Department of the Air Force

Col. Becky Beers has been named Acting CISO within the Office of the Department of the Air Force Chief Information Officer. She will support cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance across the Air Force enterprise. Beers previously served as Deputy Director of Enterprise IT. Her career includes leadership roles in cyber operations including assignments as commander of the 61st Air Base Group, chief of the cyberspace operations division within 16th Air Force, and commander of the 75th Intelligence Squadron. Ed Adams – Strobes Security

Ed Adams has joined Strobes Security, Inc. as a Strategic Advisor, where he will advise the CEO and leadership team on enterprise go-to-market strategy, channel partner development, and US market expansion. Adams previously served for more than 20 years as President and CEO of Security Innovation, Inc. in Wilmington, Massachusetts. He has also served as Head of Cybersecurity at Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity North America and as a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Ponemon Institute. (source)
