Bill Gates joins the Popular Chinese Social Media ‘WeChat’
Microsoft Founder and CEO Bill Gates one of the top billionaires in the world recently created an account on WeChat, a popular Chinese messaging app. He is the latest addition to the American entrepreneurs on a Chinese social network.
A 30-second introductory video in mandarin welcoming all the Chinese netizens to "join the conversation" on his official account. Gates popular blog gatesnotes will be having the translated version on WeChat.
Gates shares insightful reading lists, discuss on topics such as Agriculture, Saving lives, Energy and other related things about Melinda and gates foundation.
The Video received 22,660 views and the post has received over 5,700 likes on WeChat till now.
Some Famous foreigners with official WeChat account are John Cusack, Paris Hilton, and the Backstreet Boys. So it is not the first time a Western businessman to start an account of Chinese platforms.
