Get ready, for Baki Hanma is coming back to your TV screens soon! A teaser video for Baki Hanma Season 2 has been revealed. The upcoming season is produced by TMS Entertainment and will stream exclusively on Netflix. The official site for the Baki series announced on March 24 that the upcoming season is in production.

The Baki manga series was created and illustrated by Keisuke Itagaki. The first installment of the series Grappler Baki was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion from 1991 to 1998, with 42 volumes. The following four sequels were also serialized in the same magazine. Baki ran from 1995 to 2005, with 31 volumes published.

Baki Hanma is the anime adaptation of Keisuke Itagaki's Hanma Baki - Son of Ogre manga series. It is the third Baki series on Netflix and a sequel to the Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen series. The anime debuted worldwide on Netflix in September 2021 with all 12 episodes. The recently released teaser trailer focuses on the new fighter Pickle, a warrior from a bygone, primitive age. "The story finally unfolds into a full-blooded clash between Baki Hanma and his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is known as the “strongest creature on earth.” The climax of the Baki universe, which depicted the “strongest parent-child brawl in history of the world” in the original manga, has been adapted into the long-awaited anime!"
