What’s the plot of Bad Tidings?
Bad Tidings follows Neil, a grumpy home-security expert from Stockport, who can’t stand his infuriating neighbor Scott, a blind man the rest of the neighborhood adores. Their feud escalates when Scott’s year-round Christmas lights and constant nitpicking push Neil over the edge. Things take a turn when a power outage on Christmas Eve—caused by Neil—forces the entire neighborhood to evacuate, leaving Neil and Scott alone to guard the street.
Unfortunately, their timing couldn’t be worse. The infamous Brennan crime family has chosen this night to rob every house on the block. With no power, no alarms, no cameras, and one of them blind, Neil and Scott must reluctantly join forces to outwit the burglars and save their neighborhood. What begins as a chaotic rivalry turns into an unexpected partnership as the unlikely duo attempts to stop the Brennans and protect Christmas.
