TechNadu is the brand of the company, Leaprove Media LLP. Founded by college classmates Gokul Anand and Aravindhsriram, the duo decided to push the boundaries of journalism and technology. After founding their company on November 2, 2016, they decided to take it further, launching TechNadu.

The platform's name, TechNadu, was carefully selected to reveal a hidden meaning. 'Nadu' is a Tamil word meaning 'territory,' making this outlet 'the territory of tech.'
