The eight-episode series Prime Target will launch worldwide on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, with a two-episode premiere. After that, a new episode will be released weekly every Wednesday, concluding on March 5, 2025.
Plot
In Prime Target, Edward Brooks is a gifted mathematician on the brink of a groundbreaking discovery in prime number patterns—potentially unlocking access to every computer worldwide. However, his work attracts a shadowy adversary determined to sabotage him before he achieves his breakthrough.
His path crosses with NSA agent Taylah Sanders, assigned to monitor his every move. As they delve deeper, Edward and Taylah uncover a complex conspiracy that places him at the center of a high-stakes mystery threatening global security.

Is There a Trailer for Prime Target?
The trailer shows the brilliance of Leo Woodall's Edward Brooks. The professor says to him, "You're looking for sequences in Prime Numbers." Brooks replies, "What if numbers didn't behave the way we assume? What if we are not in control?" To this, the professor says, "You need to drop this. Now."

When and Where did Prime Target film?
Filming for the first season wrapped in April 2023. Principal photography started in Windsor in May, and additional scenes were shot in London. There was also an August 2023 shoot in Cambridge.

Created by Sherlock writer Steve Thompson, the series is directed by Brady Hood (Top Boy, Great Expectations).
