How to Watch Assassination Classroom in Order (With Movies)

By Samona Punjabi / April 12, 2022

A peculiar anime series of the Sci-Fi genre, Assassination Classroom has a strange but intriguing premise. The series follows a yellow octopus-like alien who destroys 70% of the moon and claims that he will destroy earth within the next year. However, he does offer one small chance to humanity to change their fate: they must succeed in killing him before he destroys the planet.

He's impossible to kill, no matter how much government officials try. However, the government ends up doing something quite strange. Ministry of Defense government worker Tadaomi Karasuma allows the creature to be the teacher of Kunugigaoka Junior High School's Class 3-E., a class for "misfits."

He soon begins teaching his students and asks them to come up with ways to kill him. Unkillable as he is, the students soon start calling him "Koro-sensei," literally meaning "unkillable teacher." If you think that the concept of this anime is bizarre, you haven't seen the real crazy. Whatever you may think, if you're a fan of the Sci-Fi genre, this series is worth watching.

Assassination Classroom is a Sci-Fi anime series with a pure comedic setting! One might assume that such a dreadful theme must have a seriously downbeat and melancholic atmosphere; however, you couldn't be more wrong. The dark humor and the non-threatening character designs make it easy to laugh at the severity of the situation.

The recommended order to watch Assassination Classroom is its release order. We recommend you start with the TV series and then move on to other forms of media according to the order of their release. Moreover, fans can skip the movie Ansatsu Kyoushitsu: 365-nichi no Jikan as it is a series recap.
