Can I Change My Primary Profile on Paramount Plus?

Paramount Plus has been around a couple of weeks now, and folks are wondering exactly how they can change their primary profile on the service.

The platform allows Paramount Plus subscribers to create up to six profiles on the service. Once you set up your account, you'll get to create the first profile. The profile is assigned by default, and it features a default avatar and the name you signed up for Paramount Plus.

Once you have your profile, you start setting it up by picking at least three shows so Paramount Plus can personalize your experience. Once you pick at least three, they give you some recommendations.

No, You can't change the primary profile, and is the only one that cannot be deleted.

When you go to "Manage Profiles" and tap on the first profile on the top left, you only get to change the Profile's name and nothing else.

When you edit other profiles, you get additional options, like turning on Kids Mode or deleting the profile completely.

That being said, there is absolutely no option anywhere to set another profile as the primary one. So, if you want to change your primary profile, that's simply not possible.

What you can do, however, is to change your profile picture and edit your name. You should definitely pay attention when setting up your account's profile, so you choose the shows you actually like.
