The Truth is an Israeli courtroom TV series that focuses on a controversial murder case followed by a second one with an identical modus operandi that puzzles the detectives. The audio is in Hebrew, but subtitles in other languages should be available on Acorn TV.

The story debuts on the day that the appeal verdict is due in a murder case related to convicted murderer Ruby Deloya, who’s been claiming innocence for a decade up to this point. Racheli, a youth investigator at the Rosh Ha'Ain police, finds the body of a girl just before the announcement of the final decision on this appeal. 

This killing seems to be a dead ringer, as the young victim is found in the same place, with the same jumping rope wrapped around the neck, like the Deloya case a decade ago.

Racheli's father, retired officer Eliyahu Zabatani, led to Deloya’s conviction. When Brigadier General Forges is put in charge of the murder investigation, Racheli is left out of the special team he puts together, to Zabatani’s disappointment.

While at the victim's funeral, her brother accuses an unexpected person, and Racheli delves into the past to discover the mysteries of both murders.
