Ren Faire is an HBO Original documentary series that chronicles an unexpected succession at the Texas Renaissance Festival, where the current king – who has reigned half a century – declares his retirement  to focus on his love life and needs a replacement. Jeff struggles to overcome Louie and gains an upper hand over him. Darla enters the fray with an agenda of her own, but disastrous consequences for her and Jeff are triggered by her promotion to co-General Manager. 

We will see King George going on an unsuccessful date and finally landing on the only successor he can trust.
