How to Fix Discovery Plus ‘No Internet Connection’ Error?

Discovery Plus is slowly making its way into people's homes, offering them a ton of content to watch. Some, however, have stumbled over an error telling them there was no Internet connection. Let's see what this is about and how we can fix it.

First of all, it seems that this error is popping up for people, regardless of the device they're using. The obvious first step is to open up a new webpage or app and see if they load.

Then, if everything seems to be working just fine, it may be a good idea to look for a speed testing website and try that one too. Even if your device appears to be connected to the Internet, the speed may be too low for Discovery Plus.

We're also going to add that the problem may be related to you using a VPN tool. VPNs route your Internet connection through their own servers, but they also affect the speed you're accustomed to. Free tools are especially guilty of this, as premium ones are far better at holding your Internet speeds up. So, if you're using a VPN, you may want to turn it off or look for a different server.

While Discovery Plus hasn't made any particular mentions about the required Internet speeds thus far, other platforms need at least 3Mbps to even load and 5Mbps for SD. High-quality content requires even more Internet speed.
