Starting August 20, 2025, ExpressVPN subscribers who receive eSIM coupons for holiday.com will now get unlimited data instead of limited data packs. The change applies across more than 200 supported destinations, giving travelers unrestricted access to browse, stream, and stay connected while abroad.
What’s Changing for ExpressVPN Users
Previously, ExpressVPN’s eSIM coupons offered data allowances of 1GB, 3GB, or 5GB. With the new ExpressVPN eSIM Coupons Upgraded:
- Every plan activated with an ExpressVPN coupon now provides unlimited data.
- Active coupons will be redeemable for 1, 3, or 5 days of unlimited usage, matching the earlier data tiers.
- Any unused, data-based coupons automatically switch to unlimited starting from the rollout date.
This upgrade is available initially through the holiday.com iPhone app, with Android support expected later this year.
ExpressVPN and Holiday.com: Independent but Connected
Holiday.com was originally launched by the team behind ExpressVPN to help travelers stay connected on the go. Both services now operate as independent brands under the Kape umbrella:
- ExpressVPN continues focusing on online privacy and security.
- Holiday.com is dedicated to simplifying travel connectivity with reliable eSIM plans.
Even with this separation, existing ExpressVPN eSIM coupons remain valid and can be redeemed on holiday.com.
Availability on iPhone and Android
The unlimited eSIM plans are rolling out first on iPhone. To use them, devices must be:
- eSIM-compatible
- Carrier-unlocked
For now, Android users won’t be able to redeem coupons until broader support launches in Q4 2025. Those with active coupons can reach out to support teams for assistance.
