Youtube users now watch one billion hours of video per day

Youtube is getting bigger and better with growing internet users more videos are being watched daily surpassing all other video sites. On its blog, it read A billion hours per day.Wow, that's something big right.

After google acquired Youtube it had made a decision to add the amount of time spent watching a video so that it was better to understand if the viewer enjoyed it or not.

Creators and fans are getting engaging very well with fantastically diverse videos that people make every single day.

Back in 2015, it received around 500 million hours daily surpassing the previous year 2014 of about 300 million hours.

1 billion hours = 114,155 years. Watching youtube video for a billion hours would take is right back to stone age were "our ancestors were crafting stone tools and migrating out of Africa while mammoths and mastodons roamed the Earth."

According to Youtube statistics, "YouTube has over a billion users — almost one-third of all people on the Internet — and everyday people watch hundreds of millions of hours on YouTube and generate billions of views."
