By Gabriela Vatu / February 22, 2020

And the XFL is officially on! A brand new professional American football league has arrived, and the games are on. Let's figure out how to watch the XFL online so you can keep up with the game.

The XFL was founded quite recently, back in 2018, and it pertains to Alpha Entertainment. The latter is owned by Vince McMahon, a famous pro wrestling promoter with a long history in the industry. If the name of the league rings a bell, that's because it's a successor to the eponymous football league that only ran for one season in 2001. With a similar structure and eight teams facing each other, the XFL is now back!

What Teams Are Playing the XFL?

There are some rule changes when compared to the NFL, and there are only eight teams currently in the XFL, split into two divisions.

How Can I Live Stream the 2020 XFL Season?

In today's world, we like to be the first to watch the latest content, we want to keep up with everything that's happening around us, and we have that ability thanks to the Internet. We spend a lot of time each day connecting with our friends, reading the news, working, watching movies, and TV shows. Under these circumstances, it makes sense to also watch TV online, as a natural next step in this whole situation. There are loads of live TV platforms available nowadays, and one of the best ways you can watch ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, and FS2 is with the help of Hulu. Hulu's live TV service comes with a single bundle of networks where you'll find all of these channels and more. Start your 7-day free trial on Hulu now!

Besides the many networks that are available in this bundle, you can also add a bunch of channel packs and premium networks to your subscription if you want. Also, when you subscribe to the live TV on Hulu, you can enjoy the on-demand content too, which is pretty cool. (Note: ABC and FOX are channels that only broadcast in select markets, so if you live in an area that doesn't get coverage, you can simply change your IP address, so it matches those in other US cities. You can do this easily by using a VPN. Click here to find all the details on how you can do this.)

fuboTV - Another cool platform you can try out is fuboTV, which has a ton of sports channels. Here, you'll find only FOX, FS1, and FS2, as there are no ESPN networks available, nor ABC. They offer a single bundle of channels, but there are a ton of channel packs you can add and plenty of premium networks, too. Start your 7-day free trial on fuboTV now!

Sling TV - We also have Sling TV on our list, and you'll find all but one channel that broadcasts the XFL games here, namely ABC. There are three bundles on Sling TV, and you'll find that ESPN and ESPN2 are in the Orange bundle, while FOX, FS1, and FS2 are in the Blue one. If you want them all, you'll need to go for Orange + Blue. This, of course, is good news, because Orange subscribers can only watch content on one device at a time, Blue subscribers can watch on three, and Orange + Blue subscribers get four simultaneous streams. Start your Sling TV subscription by saving money on your first month! There are also a ton of channel packs and plenty of premium networks to check out.

How To Watch the 2020 XFL Season When Traveling Outside of the United States?

Traveling the world is beautiful, but there are some inconveniences. The main one is the inability to watch all the content you want because live TV platforms and streaming services are all geo-blocked. It means that you can't access any of the content you pay for like you do back home. Thankfully, the problem can be solved easily by changing your IP address, and you can use a VPN to do this. If you don't know which tool to use, we can recommend going for ExpressVPN, which is a reliable tool with thousands of servers all over the world and some great privacy features to keep all your data safe.

Here's how you can use ExpressVPN to Watch the 2020 XFL Season:

Can I Watch the 2020 XFL Season on the Network Website?

Well, sure, that's possible! ABC, ESPN, Fox, and Fox Sports all have live streams on their websites. In order to access these live streams, you'll need to log in to an account by using credentials from your TV provider. The provider can be a live TV service, or a cable company, in the event that you haven't cut the cord yet. (Note: All the live streams from ABC, ESPN, FOX, and FOX Sports are geo-blocked, so if you travel anywhere outside the US, you won't be able to access them. Therefore, you'll need a VPN, and you can learn more about what you have to do by clicking here.)

Can I Watch the 2020 XFL Season with a TV Antenna?

This is a question that gets both a "yes" and a "no" answer. More specifically, you'll only get to watch some of the games with a TV antenna, namely those that are broadcast by ABC and FOX. Both these networks broadcast over-the-air, so it is possible to enjoy them with the help of a TV antenna. These devices are cheap and easy to use, and they provide people with ways to watch dozens of local TV networks, which makes them popular with cord-cutters.

While this all seems pretty awesome, we do think that you should visit a site like NoCable so you can find out more about the channels that are broadcast in your area in the first place. This way, you can see whether ABC and FOX are an option. Plus, you'll also get info on how far the broadcast stations are from your location, so you'll know what range your device needs to have. You should check the devices we listed above in case any have the right features for your household.
