One Piece Chapter 1042 Release Date, Time and Where To Read
The latest chapter of One Piece picked up right where the previous chapter left off with Momonosuke's reveal about Zunesha and Joyboy. Momonosuke and Yamata discuss the former's conversation with Zenesha about the elephant. The two have an emotional conversation where Momonosuke expresses how, unlike his father, the dangers of the outside world scare him making him want to keep Wanos borders shut to protect his people. Still, he worries this makes him a coward.
Meanwhile, on the third floor, Raizo and Fukurokuju both collapse from the fire, with the former confirmed to be the winner of the battle. Jinbe meets up with Raizo, who is still conscious. Raizo mentions that preparations are being made for an unknown purpose. On the second floor treasury, Orochi gets angry as "Komurasaki" continues to play her shamisen with her mask on.
In the basement, one of the remaining members of CP0 receives an order from the Five Elders: Eliminate Luffy effective immediately. The ceiling collapses over Orochi, leaving him trapped. Komuarasaki, on the other hand, makes a shocking revelation where she tells Orochi that Kozuki Oden is her father! She also shatters Orochi's ideas about their relationship, revealing that she never loved him.
Meanwhile, Nami and Zeus deduce from the shockwave that Law has defeated Big Mom. Law and Kid's crews continue cheering for their captains' victory, but the two are too exhausted to fight Kaidou, leaving it up to Luffy. Luffy and Kaidou are still going strong on the roof, with the two also discovering the result of Big Mom's battle with Kid and Law.
An enraged Kaidou soon goes from anger to sadness, sobbing and talking about how he and Big Mom promised to help each other find the One Piece. Luffy grabs this opportunity to land a few punches on Kaido, saying that their ambitions caused the people of Wano to suffer. He goes into Gear Four for the final time before saying that he's kicking Kaido out of Wano, even if it's the last thing he does.
