All For One calls Aoyama's mother and asks her to deliver Izuku to him. While AFO uses his lie-detection quirk to ensure he hasn't been deceived, Aoyama meets Izuku at an abandoned parking lot.
Aoyama tells Deku about AFO's plan for Japan and how he wants to bring the country to the point of destruction where people would have no choice but to resort to wickedness, thus allowing the villains to prosper. He also explains that AFO plans to become the dictator of the dystopia that awaits the heroes and civilians. Aoyama, who only pretends to betray the heroes, shoots AFO with his Navel Laser when he appears behind him.

Not only does the Class 1B student appear to help our favorite Hero in his time of need, but he also brings with him fellow heroes like Miruko, Gang Orca, Fatgum, and Endeavor.
