Marvel Studios’ ‘Eternals’ Premieres on Disney+ on January 12

Disney+ just announced that one of the most expected theater movies of the year, Marvel Studios’ Eternals, will start streaming exclusively on Disney+ on January 12, 2022. However, it will only be available for subscribers from the UK and Ireland. To view the movie, you just need to subscribe to Disney+.

Eternals will be an IMAX Enhanced movie and will add to the other thirteen Marvel Cinematic Universe movies that are already streaming on Disney+. This special format gives subscribers more picture with an expanded aspect ratio for an immersive viewing experience at home. However, content availability varies by region). 

Eternals follows the newest group of Marvel Studios heroes who come from beyond the stars and had protected the Earth since the dawn of humankind. The story shows the superhero team battling monstrous creatures long thought lost to history called Deviants, which mysteriously return. Thus, the Eternals find themselves forced to reunite in order to defend and save humanity once again.

We get to see great Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. The outstanding star-studded cast also includes Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite. Moreover, we are presented with Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, and Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh.
