KanColle Anime Season 2 Reveals Teaser Trailer
The official website for the anime adaptation project based on Kadokawa Games' web browser game Kantai Collection/KanColle has just released a teaser trailer for its new TV anime series, "KanColle: Itsuka Ano Umi de (Someday in that Sea)." Last weekend, the teaser's footage first debuted during their AnimeJapan 2022 panel.
KanColle's Season 2 will be directed by Kazuya Miura at ENGI. Kensuke Tanaka, the original writer for the franchise, is penning the scripts for the anime. Chika Nomi designs the characters while Kaori Ohkoshi composes the music. In addition, Yuichi Imaizumi is the sound director.

As announced at the AnimeJapan 2022 event last weekend, the new season of KanColle is set to premiere in November 2022. Kadokawa revealed that KanColle Season 2 would only have eight episodes instead of the usual television anime length of 11-13 episodes. The company revealed that production specifically wanted to heighten the quality by telling a more compact story with fewer episodes.
However, its storyline will not be continuous with the anime's first season aired in 2015 and the feature film KanColle: The Movie released in 2016. The cast of KanColle: Itsuka Ano Umi de (Someday in that Sea) includes:

KanColle: Itsuka Ano Umi de (Someday in that Sea) is based on a web browser game launched in 2013 and is set in a world where humanity has lost control of the seas. The threat that has taken over the seas is the Abyssal fleet. The only ones who can counter this threat are Kan-Musu (Fleet Girls), girls who possess the spirit of naval vessels from days gone by.
Fans looking to watch KanColle Season 1 can check it out on Crunchyroll, which streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The anime streaming giant also features the first season in an English dubbed version. Here's a look at the new teaser visual featuring the Fleet Girls for KanColle Season 2:
