Kaginado Season 2 Release Date Announced
The official website for the anime series, Kaginado, just announced the release date for its second season! Kaginado's first season was aired from October to December 2021. The second season sees the addition of the characters from "Angel Beats!," who made a brief appearance in the first season's final episode.
Kaginado's first season is a crossover of Key's most popular visual novel and anime titles: Kanon, AIR, CLANNAD, Little Busters!, Rewrite, and Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet. The characters from the six series are transformed into chibi-form and tell their comedic life at the Kaginado Private Academy. Fans looking to watch the first season of Kaginado can check it out on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Wakanim, and HIDIVE.
Kaginado Season 2 Release Date and More
Kaginado Season 2 will premiere on the Tokyo MX channel on April 12 at 1 AM (effectively, April 13 at 1 AM). The series will also run on KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, Niigata TV 21, AT-X, BS NTV, Hokuriku Asahi Broadcasting, and Asahi Broadcasting Nagano. The series will stream on various services in Japan along with Tokyo MX.
As teased in the previous visual above, six characters from the 2010 anime "Angel Beats!" will appear in the second season:
- Hiroshi Kamiya as Yuzuru Otonashi
- Harumi Sakurai as Yuri Nakamura
- Kana Hanazawa as Tenshi
- Ryohei Kimura as Hideki Hinata
- Megumi Ogata as Ayato Naoi
- Eri Kitamura as Yui
