How to Watch Transplant Season 2 Online From Anywhere

By Ipsita Kabiraj / March 5, 2022

Canada’s favorite medical drama is all set to return to American television this month. A CTV original series, Transplant Season 2 will premiere after an extended hiatus on American TV this year. Let’s take a look at how, when, and where you can watch the show online from anywhere easily.

Transplant follows the thrilling story of a talented Syrian doctor Bashir Hamed (played by Hamza Haq) who flees his war-torn country to Canada with his sister to seek refuge. Owing to his skills, he soon goes on to become a resident at the emergency department of York Memorial Hospital in Toronto. The second season begins shortly after the closing moments of season one – with the hospital chief Dr. Jed Bishop (played by John Hannah) suffering a serious stroke. While everyone begins to ponder their future at the hospital, Hamed is haunted by his past and struggles to adjust to his new life in Canada. According to a CTV press release, his “hard work, compassion, and hopefulness tell a universal story about the human ability to not only survive but ultimately thrive, within new circumstances.”

Haq and Hannah reprise their roles in Transplant Season 2. They are joined by Laurence Leboeuf as Dr. Mags Leblanc, Ayisha Issa as Dr. June Curtis, Sirena Gulamgaus as Amira Hamed, and Jim Watson as Dr. Theo Hunter. After a wildly popular first season with an average audience of 1.4 million, the second season of Transplant will play out in 13 episodes. While the series premiered in Canada on January 3, NBC is bringing it to American television on March 6 at 10 p.m. E.T.

The show is produced by Sphere Media in association with CTV and NBC Universal International Studios. It is directed by Stefan Pleszczynski (also an Executive Producer), Daniel Grou, Chloé Robichaud, Bosedé Williams, and Kim Nguyen. Joseph Kay, Mark Ellis, Stephanie Morgenstern, Adam Barken, Rachel Langer, Julie Puckrin, Tamara Moulin, Anusree Roy, Sami Khan, and Carmine Pierre Dufour wrote the series.
