DirecTV Now is finally getting EPIX, the premium TV network that many other live TV platforms already offer subscribers. Starting with May 19th, the channel will be available for $5.99 per month.

According to a press release, the channel will be available for DirecTV Now subscribers, as well as those customers of DirecTV.

"We are thrilled to expand our relationship with AT&T and make our growing slate of original programming and Hollywood movies accessible to viewers across the DIRECTV universe,” said Michael Wright, EPIX' President. He added that it's an exciting moment of growth for the network as they work to deliver great premium original series to new audiences. Similarly, EPIX EVP and General Manager Monty Sarhan expressed his gratitude for the AT&T partnership. "We are extremely excited about launching on DIRECTV and expanding EPIX’s availability nationwide. This is an incredibly important platform for us and a truly momentous launch for our network," he said.

AT&T's Dan York, Senior Executive Vice President, and COO were equally excited about the move. "We are pleased to add EPIX to our vast content offering in the premium TV category. With its growing lineup of original programming, EPIX is a great addition for our DIRECTV customers."

The channel brings some great series to subscribers, such as Godfather of Harlem featuring Forest Whitaker, Pennyworth, the origin story of Alfred, Batman's trusted butler, or Perpetual Grace, LTD, which features Ben Kingsley.

EPIX is already available on other live TV platforms. On Sling TV, for instance, you can pay $5 for EPIX, EPIX 2, and EPIX Hits, while EPIX will cost you $6 on YouTube TV. On PlayStation Vue, you can find EPIX Hits in the Elite and Ultra bundles, but you can also get it separately if you pick any of the other two bundles by paying $3.99 per month or $2.99 per month if you're a PS Plus subscriber.
