Electra made Jailbreaking simple for iOS 11.0 – 11.1.2 with Cydia

By Aravindhsriram / February 27, 2018

Most recently, there is a new tool available to jailbreak iOS device is "Electra." This tool helps the user to easily jailbreak iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 11.0 - 11.1.2 version. After a successful testing, the first version of it is released worldwide.

Before going further you should know why do people jailbreak? The reason behind jailbreaking the iOS device is to remove the restrictions and the limitations imposed by Apple. If someone jailbreaks their phone, they possibly can install software into their device from inside and outside of App Store and even download files from the internet. But doing this will not allow you to claim your warranty anymore. Think twice before taking any action.

Even though jailbreaking has a few positive sides, there is a chance seeing the downside of it. Like other tools, every time you restart or shut down your Apple device, the system has to perform jailbreak from the scratch. This means that you have to jailbreak your device every single time it loses power or restarts. This case applies even when the jailbreak certificate expires. According to the general user, this is totally an annoying thing and make inconvenience to them. But there is a no way for you to skip this. If you have to stay without restriction, then you have to jailbreak it.

To download the latest version of Electra, visit the official website from here. After you download, use Cydia Impactor to install the IPA file on either Windows or Mac. Also, you could see some important information, credits, and disclaimer for their tool on the official website. You are recommended to read their terms and policies before taking an action. The reason I'm advising you is because I don't want you to land in trouble without actually knowing the risk.

From their disclaimer, it is clear that they don't take any responsibility for any damage caused to your iOS installation by any tweaks or executables you load after the jailbreak. If you are not techie enough to solve the issue once it went wrong during or after the jailbreak, you are warned to stay away from it.
