SPOILER WARNING

If you haven't watched the latest episode of Attack on Titan: The Final Season, everything below is a spoiler!

The latest episode of Attack on Titan Season 4, Part 2, is finally out, and the hype is truly real! Episode 17 of the final season left us with the Armoured Titan AKA Reiner cornering Eren, thanks to Pieck's surprise attack with her trusty canon and impaling him with one of his own spikes. Hange escaped with Levi (no, we still don't think he's dead), Zeke came back from the brink of death, and the Yeagerists were overwhelmed by Marley's attack.

Onyakopon, on the other hand, decided to free Armin, Mikasa, Connie, Jean, and the others as a last-ditch effort to save Eren. Let's take a look at the latest episode of Season 4 Part 2 and find out what happened next.

Armin, Mikasa, Connie and Jean

The episode begins with a recap of the last scene we saw between Armin, Mikasa, and the others as they try to figure out if they should help Eren. After Armin's theory about Eren not really being on Zeke and Yelena's side, Jean expresses that despite all their misgivings, he doesn't really want Eren to die just yet.

As they make their way to the main battle, Mikasa asks Armin why he thinks Eren doesn't plan to side with Zeke. She asks him why Eren wouldn't just include the two of them in his plan instead of saying he hates her? Armin seems like he knows more than he's letting on but chooses to simply say that he and Eren always knew about Mikasa's headaches and that Eren probably only used that fact to make his lie seem believable.

Upon reaching the top, the group decides to help Eren reach Zeke since together; they can use the powers of the founding titan. However, as they make their way, they're met with resistance from several of the Marley soldiers firing from their positions.

The Battle of the Titans

Coming back to Eren and Reiner, the last thing we saw was Reiner impaling Eren with his own Warhammer skewer. However, as we already know, Eren is not one to give up so easily. He lets out a roar and manages to create several more of the spikes in order to keep Reiner at bay. Meanwhile, Porco tries to tackle Eren with the Jaw Titan and receives a hard blow to his face from Eren's hardened hand that sends him flying and causes a lot of damage.

Reiner then charges head-on once more and pins Eren to the ground with a clear shot at his nape. However, Eren, who seemed to be falling unconscious for a second, suddenly awakens and breaks the Armoured Titan's jaw while still pinned to the ground. The two Titans, still engaged in a struggle, are surprised by the appearance of Zeke, AKA the Beast Titan, who gets there just in time to save Eren.

Gabi and Falco

While the battle rages on, Gabi, who was rescued by Pieck and Colt in the last episode, decides to join the latter in his search for his younger brother, Falco. Falco, on the other hand, is trapped in another cell with the Nile and the rest of the soldiers from Paradis, who were given the wine laced with Zeke's spinal fluid. However, they are soon rescued by our trusty heroes from the 104th cadet corps.

As they escape, Commander Pyxis tells the group to help in the ongoing battle by letting the soldiers who haven't drunk the wine have the last remaining ODM gears. Falco is then spotted by Gabi and Colt, who try to hide from the soldiers. However, when Falco tells the Nile that he saw his brother, he lets him go and tells them both to get away, expressing that war is no place for kids.

The three of them then hide inside a shop since the Marleyan airships have now been destroyed. While there, Gabi overhears Sasha's parents walking by, talking about how they hope that Gabi (Mia) and Falco (Ben) got away. Upon hearing their concern for her despite her having killed their daughter, Gabi finally admits that the people of Paradis are not demons at all but just regular people.

She then apologizes to Falco for putting him in this situation. Falco, on the other hand, has already consumed the spinal fluid wine and might turn into a pure titan at any time. Thinking he might not have another chance, he tells Gabi he's in love with her and doesn't want her to become the Armored Titan because he wants her to have a long life.

Colt, worried about his brother, decides to take them to Zeke, whose scream can turn Falco into a Titan. He believes that Zeke might change his mind about the scream once he finds out that Falco has consumed his spinal fluid as well. However, as the three make their way, Zeke gets into some trouble.

The Cliffhanger

The Beast Titan who is seen weakening Marley's attack by destroying their airships and attacking the Cart Titan. Eren then stands up and makes his way towards Zeke in order to activate the powers of the founder and possibly even start "The Rumbling." While the Beast Titan continues to throw rocks at anyone trying to stop Eren from reaching him, General Magath takes a shot from under Pieck's Titan carcass, hitting Zeke straight on the nape.

The Beast Titan then falls to the ground from atop the wall, as everyone else watches on in surprise. However, as fans can see, the shot did not hit Zeke's entire human body since he still looked alive inside the nape. General Magath asks Pieck to get into a better position so he can take a clearer shot since Zeke might scream any minute now. On the other hand, Gabi, Falco, and Colt are seen running towards the Beast Titan.

Is this the end for Falco? Can the Beast Titan survive and save Eren? What happened to Levi and Hange? Guess we'll have to watch next week to find out!
