Apple is Offering Free Beats Headphones with Select Macs and iPad devices

By Nitish Singh / July 12, 2018

Apple launched its Back to School Promotion for students in the United States, Canada, and select European countries. The tech giant has not revealed any intentions of making the offers available in other countries as of now. Eligible higher-education students or their parents and faculty from higher-education or K-12 institutions can receive free headphones from Beats for free or at heavy discounts. In some countries, a student verification procedure by UNiDAYS is necessary when making a purchase.

Eligible customers need to present valid identification to redeem Beats X, Solo 3 or Powerbeats3 headsets when purchasing an eligible Mac device which includes the MacBook Pro, iMac, MacBook Air, Mac Pro and the iMac Pro. The Mac mini is not part of the ongoing offer.

Customers who want to get a new iPad pro can choose between the Beats X or the Powerbeats 3. The offer is valid on both the 10.5” and 12.9” iPad pro devices by Apple. You can also pay $100 and get the Solo3 Wireless headphones. The iPad mini and the non-Pro iPad devices are not eligible for the offer.

The offer is ongoing at authorized campus stores, retail outlets and Apple’s online store. Interested customers can also call 1-800-MY-APPLE for phone orders. With new iPad and Mac devices scheduled for announcement in September, waiting for the new lineup of devices is also a great option. If you are planning on getting a new iPad Pro or Mac for higher education, you should take advantage of the offer as the premium Beats headphones on offer are great value for money when bundled with Apple hardware for free.
