Youtube Dark Mode – Here’s how to activate the hidden feature

Youtube has newly introduced a hidden dark mode feature to its blog, which is fully cinematic and thriller feel. This feature can be enabled only through chrome browser.

According to the report on YouTube, the mode is mainly to create an "ideal night-time experience" for users. It has not officially announced yet, report says they currently testing this features.,

Here's how to activate the Youtube Dark Mode feature:

• First, open the chrome browser on your PC or Mac. And check whether your Chrome browser is updated or not. If needed, update your Chrome to the latest version or above 57 to perform this hack.
• Then, open the developer window by holding Ctrl + Shift + I on Windows or press Option + Command + I on Mac. You can use Chrome menu to launch developer window.
• Once the developer window is opened, select the Console tab. Then, paste the following link: document.cookie="VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=fPQ4jCL6EiE".

• Now, hit enter. You will get like this.

• Once you have done that, close the developer window and refresh your Chrome browser.
• Now, you are able to activate the dark mode on Youtube. To enable this dark mode option, click the profile icon in the top right corner if you have signed in Youtube nor click the settings menu if you haven't signed in.

• Here you can see the Dark Mode option which is currently turned off. To turn ON, select Dark Mode. Then, you will get the following screen on your device.

• After reading the instruction. Activate the Youtube's hidden Dark Mode. Once activated, it turns into a dark like shown below.

• Finally, your Youtube site will look like this.
